  • Quick Ballpark: the fastest way to get a budget estimate by entering either sections or total linear feet; sections are preferred for best accuracy, and feet-based estimates often need 1–2 extra sections to account for turns, partial spans, and transitions.
  • Draw Layout: takes more time but is typically more accurate, with options to draw on a blank canvas or directly over your property using satellite view.

Trex® Fence Draw Assist

Draw your fence on a grid or an interactive map. Length labels are shown as feet & inches (no decimals).

Quick start

  • Post center reference (on-center): Seclusions 96", Horizons 97", Solitudes 96", Shenandoah 92.25".
  • Draw the main fence outline first.
  • Then add gates, fixed posts, buildings, or notes.
  • Click or tap near an existing post to continue from that point.
  • Gates and fixed posts snap to the closest fence line.
  • Gates must be placed inside an existing fence run, so add the fence line on both sides first before placing a gate.
  • Use the joystick by clicking, holding, and dragging it to pan the canvas or satellite view.

Tip: fixed posts are drawing anchors for branching a new run from inside an existing section (they are not a separate product).
